< Call me Ishmael. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me on shore, I thought I would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation.> ("Moby Dick“, Herman Melville, 1852)
Like Ishmael, the writer Marco Magnone loves to sail in his big sea: books and literature. But what would a sailor be without his ship? And a writer without a bookstore?
Thus was born the idea of a metal structure with shelves in linden wood that covers an entire wall of the living area of his apartment, articulated in detail but regular in the complex.
A whale carved on one of the shelves is the owner of the entire library.
